SketchUp Studio Non-Profit Subscription

Overview

A SketchUp Pro 2021 Non-Profit is designed for organisations who can demonstrate not-for-profit status or recognition of charitable status for tax purposes by HMRC, offering a 3D modelling software for non-profits at a discount. Only official documentation that evidences this will be accepted as proof of status. Please be prepared to provide one of the following for your SketchUp Studio Non-Profit Licence:

  • Charity Registration Number from Charity Commission
  • CIC Registration Number from CIC Regulator, Articles and Memorandum of Association

SketchUp Studio Non-Profit Licence is a 1-year subscription for use on a single device which must be renewed annually for your software to continue to function and is a Single user license only. If multiple users need to utilise SketchUp, please order the actual number of licenses required. This subscription type cannot be used by:

  • Students
  • Businesses
  • Education
  • Hobbyist

You are consistently supported when you subscribe to SketchUp. We provide a dedicated telephone and email support outreach. However, if you need further training you can find authorised training centres here.

    • 3D class video card with 1 GB of memory or higher and support for hardware acceleration. Please ensure that the video card driver supports OpenGL 3.1 or higher and is up to date.

Frequently Asked Questions

A single-user subscription is associated with one person (named user) and that individual can then install SketchUp on up to 2 computers. However, only one computer will run SketchUp at a particular time. A subscription cannot be shared between two people.

When you sign up for a subscription you’ll prepay for the full term of your annual subscription. You will be able to use the applications in your subscription for the remainder of your annual term. There are no partial refunds if you stop using your subscription before the end of the term.

In the UK, you purchase your SketchUp Pro subscription from one of our authorised resellers. Your subscription will not be renewed automatically; instead, they will contact you ahead of your renewal to let you know it will soon be time to renew. If you wish to renew your subscription, they will process the order for you.

Each product has different functionality and dependence on the internet.

SketchUp for Web is a web-based modeller, so you’ll need to be always connected to the internet to use it.

To install desktop applications like SketchUp Pro and LayOut for the first time, you’ll need to be connected to the internet. After that, you can model offline for up to 28 days before you need to sign back in.

if you’re working in a desktop application and need to access Extension Warehouse or 3D Warehouse, you’ll need an internet connection.
